Women’s Data Hour – May 2024

An informal catch up for anyone that has attended FIND training.

Join us on Tuesday, May 21st, for the Women’s Data Hour hosted by the Local Data Project. This interactive one-hour session offers an informal chat where you can engage with fellow participants.

This month’s session will feature a short presentation from one of our previous Data champions, sharing insights into her work post FIND training. We’ll also have dedicated time for Q&A, allowing you to delve deeper into any topics of interest.

Additionally, we are thrilled to welcome Emma Thackray, Senior Research and Data Officer from the Women’s Budget Group. Emma will be discussing the women’s grassroots organisation grant available, providing valuable information about this opportunity.

No data experience is needed.

Our sessions are focused on encouraging genuine conversations and connections. Here’s what you can expect:

💬 Open Conversations: No need for formal presentations. Our sessions are all about generating authentic discussions among participants and ourselves.

🤝 Build a Stronger Community: Connect with like-minded individuals and the Women’s Budget Group (WBG) community. Informal interactions often lead to valuable connections and collaborations.

🎯 Encourage Bespoke Training: Participating in our sessions opens the door to bespoke training opportunities with the Local Data Project. We’re here to support you and your data needs.

Whether you’re a seasoned data enthusiast or just dipping your toes into the world of gender equality and data, everyone is welcome at The Women’s Data Hour. So, grab a cup of coffee or tea and a biscuit, bring your ideas to the table, and let’s chat!

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be part of a supportive community. Reserve your spot now and join us for an hour of insightful discussion, connection-building, and empowerment at The Women’s Data Hour!
