Protecting Women’s Incomes with a Green, Caring Economy

How can investment in care jobs & our social security system help to protect women’s incomes, & tackle climate change & gender inequality?

In this webinar, we’ll explore how investment in care jobs and our social security system can help to protect women’s incomes, while simultaneously tackling climate change and gender inequality.

This webinar marks the upcoming publications of the fifth and sixth policy papers in our Feminist Green New Deal project: Labour market changes for a green, caring economy and Managing risk through security: Social security’s contribution to tackling climate change and gender inequality.

We welcome Alison McGovern MP, shadow minister for work and pensions, to chair the event. She will be joined by Sara Reis (WBG), Marilyn Howard (University of Bristol/WBG) and special guest speakers.

We will look forward to welcoming you on Monday 23rd May from 13:00-14:00.

The Feminist Green New Deal project is in collaboration with the Women’s Environmental Network. Find out more here.
