Collaborative Centre for Gender and Development – Kenya

In September 2022 we delivered a 3-day training on Gender-Responsive Budgeting in Nairobi, Kenya, in partnership with the Collaborative Centre for Gender & Development, our longest standing partner. The training was attended by 25 people who were from a range of professional backgrounds.

Action Aid (Hellas) – Greece

We delivered two gender-responsive budgeting trainings in Greece, in collaboration with ActionAid Hellas and the Karditsa Women’s Centre. The trainings were delivered to municipal officials from Athens and Karditsa and focused on the technical aspects of GRB including on the need for gendered economic analysis of policies.

Kvinna till Kvinna – MENA region

We held a session at a webinar organised by Kvinna till Kvinna for civil society organisations across the MENA region. We presented the work of the WBG, the basics of gender-responsive budgeting, our Global Partnerships and Learning Programme, and the Early Career Network.

DemNet – Hungary

In March 2021, we delivered a training session to DemNet, a Hungarian organisation on tax justice, development finance and civic space, on GRB. We highlighted the importance of gender issues in economic justice work and discussed ways in which DemNet could embed GRB into their work.

50:50 Group – Sierra Leone

Our work with 50:50 in Sierra Leone included training of trainers for members of the 50:50 campaign in carrying out gendered analysis of economic policy.
