ASHE – Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings
The main dataset recording earnings for women and men, for different age groups, by type of industry, type of employment and more. Used to calculate the official Gender Pay Gap.
Labour Market Statistics Time series
Monthly updates tracking developments in the labour market. Includes information on employment, unemployment and economic activity rates, as well as redundancies and earnings disaggregated by sex. Data is available at local level and by industry.
Family Resources Survey (for self-employment)
A comprehensive survey that includes demographic information, employment status and more. Very useful for numbers of self-employed people and average earnings for full-time and part-time self-employment. Only national figures.
