WBG ECN launch: What is Feminist Economics?

Come join us for a full-day event to talk about feminist economics and the strive for a gender-equal economy.

The Women’s Budget Group is launching its Early-Career Network in the new year!

Date: Thursday 24 January 2019

Time: 9.30am-5pm

Location: Ellen Wilkinson Building (room B2.4), University of Manchester

Come join us for a full-day event to talk about feminist economics and the strive for a gender-equal economy. There will be talks from prominent names in the field, research presentations by early-career members and a discussion about how to communicate research to a non-academic audience.

You can read the full programme and speakers here.

This will be a great opportunity to meet with people from across the UK who are working on economics, public policy and political science from a gendered perspective and to learn about new research being done in the field.

This event is targeted to early-career researchers, working in and outside academia, but everyone with an interest in feminist economics is welcome to attend.

To register for a place at this event, please sign-up via our Eventbrite page. Refreshments and lunch will be served.

Join the WBG ECN at wbg.org.uk/early-career-network/. Membership and event attendance are free.
