The Women’s Budget Group (WBG) is delighted to host this webinar exploring new research into the impact of parenting leave policies and the burden of childcare responsibility. Caregiving dads, breadwinning mums: Transforming gender in work and childcare is a major mixed-methods study funded by the Nuffield Foundation. Its findings suggest that parents are restricted by current parenting leave policy, meaning childcare responsibilities cannot be evenly distributed. Our webinar asks what this means for parents and how the future of parenting leave could look.

Join our panel:

  • Dr Ana Jordan, University of Lincoln, will set out the findings of the research
  • Anna Whitehouse, journalist and founder of Mother Pukka
  • Dr Jeremy Davies, the Fatherhood Institute
  • Dr Mary-Ann Stephenson, director of WBG

We hope to see you there.

We are committed to making our events inclusive and accessible – if you require any further arrangements please get in touch with us at elle.davis@wbg.org.uk
