Chwarae Teg Closure – Statement from the 4 Nations WBGs

We are very disappointed to learn of the closure, announced today, of Chwarae Teg, which has served the community. This will be a significant loss to Welsh women and represents another blow from Brexit – with the loss of EU funding impacting organisations and communities. We call on governments in Wales and London to honour the promises made post Brexit that funding will remain, so organisations such as Chwarae Teg’s could continue delivering vital services.
